I\u2019ve been feeling a strong sense of fulfillment from truly applying what I\u2019ve learned.<br \/>\nAs knowledge becomes organized and internalized\u2014and even shared through exchanges with physicians from different countries\u2014I can clearly see my own growth.<\/p>\n<p>I still remember the anxiety and uncertainty when I first started placing double lumen catheters as an 1st-year resident in internal medicine department.<br \/>\nWith the guidance of my seniors along the way, I progressed from needing demonstrations and supervision to being able to perform the procedure independently.<\/p>\n<p>After entering nephrology, managing more complex and critically ill patients\u2014such as those with severe edema or coagulopathy\u2014has made me place even greater emphasis on safety and precision in every procedure.<br \/>\nFor this reason, most insertions are now performed under real-time ultrasound guidance, which not only improves success rates but also enhances overall patient safety.<\/p>\n<p>In recent years, I\u2019ve also had the opportunity to be involved in PD catheter insertion:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2023 | Taiwan Society of Nephrology \u2013 1st Interventional Workshop<\/li>\n<li>2025 | Taiwan Society of Nephrology \u2013 2nd Interventional Workshop<\/li>\n<li>2025 | APCN-TSN Saving Young Lives Workshop<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Learned acute PD catheter implantation (adult &amp; pediatric) and troubleshooting from international faculty, with valuable insights gained through case-based group discussions.<\/p>\n<p>More recently, I had the honor of serving as an instructor for adult PD catheter insertion at the PD Access Master Class (March 17, 2026).<\/p>\n<p>For me, this is not just about accumulating experience, but a continuous cycle of learning \u2192 organizing \u2192 sharing.<br \/>\nIt is also a reminder to keep refining every detail through reflection and improvement, with the goal of providing safer and more
