The child successfully received life-saving treatment despite limited resources.<\/p>\n<p>Working in a government-based pediatric hospital without access to hemodialysis, Bimala continues to advocate for a \u201cPD First\u201d policy to improve access to kidney replacement therapy for children in need.<\/p>\n<p>Her dedication, courage, and commitment to expanding PD services are deeply inspiring. Stories like hers remind us why education, collaboration, and global PD training matter.<br \/>\nWe are proud to stay connected with passionate healthcare professionals like Bimala who are creating real impact for children and families in their communities. \ud83c\udf0d\ud83d\udc99<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201c I performed PD in a 2-year-old child with T-cell ALL, tumor lysis syndrome, fluid overload, and uremic encephalopathy. Thank you.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>I really want a \u201cPD First\u201d policy in my hospital, and since we do not have HD, PD is the best option for me and my patients.
